High Performer Mental Skills
What do high performing athletes do differently? This half-day workshop teaches three core psychological skills athletes use to get the most out of themselves: goal-getting, controllables and routines. You will learn to identify and achieve different types of goals, to influence what is within your control, regulate self-talk and reduce distractions, as well as developing routines that give you the best opportunity to perform at your peak under pressure.
Through practical exercises and activities learn to apply these core skills in your sport, and leave with a plan to practically employ them in your training regime and future performance situations. This course is suitable for athletes, coaches and their support team.
This workshop is facilitated by Michael Inglis, Sport & Performance Psychologist and co-founder of The Mind Room.
